It’s great to be hard on a D1 team but y’all gotta start giving these smaller schools credit.... there’s ALOT of unknown talent out there with a bunch of hungry guys busting their asses to get a shot... they’re not afraid of the big schools anymore.

Agreed. But like...they still lost? It’s week 1 off a very wacky year and off-season. Don’t get too hyped yet. I will literally put money on the playoff teams. None of these lil schools are gonna make it, no matter how hard they play. And if you think they are legit contenders than you need to go back home and suck on a bottle. Fresno state put up a good fight in week 1, for sure. But this was the worst version of the ducks and I think the ducks are overrated this year. (Coming from an Oregon native). This is the closest Fresno state will get to beating a power 5 time all year so fucking calm down okay?

Fresno State always been one of the best, if not the best, Mountain West team. Right up there with Boise St and San Diego St. Plus, they have like 10 former power 5 starters who transferred there.

Yeah, I realize that it's game one and there are kinks to be worked out but DAMN!!! This was downright embarrassing...AND we have to go to Ohio State next week!!! Unless this defense uncovers some sort of "magic pill," next week is going to be a disaster. And, oh, the offense wasn't that great today either...whatever happened to those games where Oregon blew out teams 70 to whatever? I say the hell with Cristobal and bring back Chip Kelly!!

As a OSU fan, i think that you guys will win. We have to many holes/issues in our team. We have a brand new QB with only one game experience(so he's going to make mistakes), our defense isn't that good. Only our DL is descent, LBs need much improvement, our Dbs are so so.. The only thing great is our running backs and receivers and our OLine. Everything else has a question mark. So i think if Oregon plays there cards right, they will win

Today's game was completely eye-opening for me...during our extreme height under Chip, this would have been a 60-20 blow-out but this is clearly NOT the same caliber of team.
