When Navy changed QB late in the game, their offense started clicking. I wonder what would have happened had they started this QB? However, Navy has a huge problem with their pass defense as well as run defense.

Their team is still rebuilding after the first (and only) NCAA "death penalty" back in 1987 of a Division I football program.

@@PerunaMuayThai i think the NCAA should’ve gave them the death penalty for that. But I don’t think they will ever put a death penalty punishment on any team again after the toll it took on SMU. I think it would have to be something insane in order for them to do it again

SMU was w/out a starting WR, and have 2 top starters out this year due to injury. Tough losses but offense looked good this game.

Navy did pretty well on the pass game, surprisingly. Putting up 37 against smu or any team is really good.

That was one of the better outputs from Navy this year too, yes SMU can burn on the long pass but Navy isnt really known for its pass D. GO ARMY

This is a power spread. June Jones won over teams that had a .500 or worse record. He was on the scale of 6-40 vs teams with a winning record. The RnS misfired.
