For me it's the V4 Countess because at has a clean pure channel. With this clean channel it's much more versatile then the others. The overdrive channel also has a broad spectrum of tones. So the Countess is the one which you can use for most musical genres. And of course it sounds great ;)

I would choose the Kraken. Into a clean amp you can just use the clean amp, a lovely gain 1 sound and when needed switch to the killer tone in channel 2. For me the perfect combination from heavy sounds to low / medium gain sounds or even bypass the whole unit for a clean sound. My wet pedal dream😍

When I recovered from fainting I had no doubt: the Kraken V4 is a winner! It nails the amp's tone! Awesome! I'm gonna listen to it again (and probably faint once more...)

8:06 Tube amps were used in the past in military telecommunications such HF/VHF radios. So if you look, right after WWII, a lot of powerful military nations came with tube amps (US, UK, German, Russian, Japan) and some of them became very famous brands such Fender, Marshall, Vox, Echolette, etc... we can’t ignore the direct connection between military equipments and civilian use (from GPS, to Internet, etc...). There!s always a way to “recycle” military technology for commercial civilian usage.

I love the idea and the tones. Imagine to build a pedalboard with a Milkman The Amp, a Sheriff V4 and a Kraken V4, couple of drive, fuzz, and delay pedals and you have a full 50W rig with a Fender clean (with reverb and trem), a Marshall drive and a high-gain amp... all portable on a small pedalboard, at a very decent price under 2 grand for the whole setup. All you need then is a cab and your guitar. Well done Victory Amps!

Thomann Music or for anyone that already have a “pedal platform” clean amp such a Hot Rod Deluxe with a pedalboard. It’s not too big it could probably find it’s way on a slightly bigger pedalboard and then bring the additional amp tones. As a Two-Rock user that would also love to get a Marshall-ish tone, I can tell you the Sheriff V4 looks VERY interesting to me... mainly for 399 bucks!

SO on the clean tones, all 3 preamps have a distinctly different low mid warmth than the amps through the Victory Cab which is a little brighter when run into the Hot Rod. I'm guessing this is speaker related? I think I may shoot for the Sheriff...

How would you go about using two V4 pedals together? Could both be used in ‘amp through made’ connected to a looper/switching pedal or would the second V4 have to be used like a regular distortion pedal?

Valves? Valves are any of various devices that regulate the flow of gases, liquids, or loose materials through piping or through apertures by opening, closing, or obstructing ports or passageways. Examples are your garden hose valve or a kitchen sink faucet. Such a device is not part of the amplification process. Do you mean “tubes”?

Did you connect the V4 to the G2 effect loop presets? I was wondering if it would work connecting it with the 4 cables method through G2 effect loop presets and keep my Strymons into the same loop

Kris here, hi Toni! Connecting the V4 with 4 cable method while using the G2 is not necessary. Our setup will blow your mind. Ready? :-D We connected the V4 to the G2 in a Loop (loop 5) without the 4 cable method. Then we connected the preamp of our amp with the 4 cable method with the G2's volume loop. We put the volume loop after loop 5. This way we had all three options (and also made presets for those): V4 active - amp's preamp inactive; V4 inactive - amp's preamp active; V4 active and amp's preamp active (V4 as an overdrive pedal). This way all G2 loops from loop 6 to loop 10 are always behind the preamps. Hope this helped buddy. Cheers!
