Update: I made a small mistake on the graphic comparing the VAP and X10 The VAP weights 339.51 gr. and the X10 weights 385.80 gr. Thank you to the subscriber who brought it to my attention

Try and get hold of Victorys vxt- arrows. Tapered shaft but they are 1.3grain per inch heavier then VAP. Add 40 grain vs VAPS. But then your on similar arrow weigth as your X10. No gains there im afraid except the price diffrence. 340,USD for 12 Victory VXT shafts. so VXT 340:- USD vs X10 458:- USD both tapered and barreled.

I love the Victory V.A.P. V 3 Arrows, I have a set of them in the 500 spine, and also a set of the 800 spine. I custom built them, and tuned them to fly really straight, depending on which draw weight bow I'am using.

Thanks for letting me know I must have flipped the numbers when I typed it out. Very sorry about that. The VAP is definitely lighter then the X10

Been shooting both. VAP V1's 600 28 inch with 120 gn tips, and 650 X10's. I need a bit more elevation for 70m and grouping is wider compared to X10's. At shorter distances the VAP's are simply awesome.

Hi, great video. What is the draw weight you used with the VAP´s? and arrow lenght?

Hi, thanks for the review.. was looking forward to it for months :). What do you think about the VAP points? They are pretty long a taper to a very sharp and narrow point. They are not tungsten steel so they are softer. Did you have any issues with them? Like the point becoming dull and so shorter a bit?

I'm glad you said the price of x10,s is way to expensive for beginners and probably intermediate archers ...VAPS seem to be a great buget arrow that are worth getting .before making the huge jump to x10s ... in the UK VAPS are now becoming very popular, due to their good grouping and pricing . vxt compared to x10s is the video we are all waiting .... come on Anthony do it .☺

X10 weights 385.80 .. hehe you running hunting setup :P Im using 120gr point and end up at 305grain for skylon arrow, but only cut to 28".

Why did you pick different spines? 500 (VAPs) vs 410 (X10s). Wondering, since I shoot VAPs now and are planning to try X10s one day :-)

Because spines are brand specific

Pitty shooting 34" shafts make VAPs not an option :( In fact I do not know any other than Easton brand who makes >33" shafts
