Did you notice a drop in volume? I'm asking because the speakers you put in were a 4 ohm , Some say the Victory radio is a 2 ohm one. which would cause a loss in volume? But the dealer cant tell me if the radio is 2 ohm or 4 ohm....

go with polk audio - all there speakers are marine grade - water resistant and you wont have any probelms

pro trick: you can watch series on flixzone. Been using it for watching loads of movies lately.

glad you liked it, no amp added yet seem to be loud enough at 65 -70 mph for me with a modular helmet. Just don't drop that bolt like I did, then you'll need to remove fairing. Lol. Happy cruising!

Speaker is still holding up find. As for rain the front fairing just deflect the water away so no issues. I do have a bike cover that I cover my bike with so no rain gets into the speaker, if water do get into the speaker area I just use compress air to dry off and wipe dry. Great upgrade so far for the $. I was thinking of doing my trunk but it's loud enough when all 4 speaker is on.

808XCOUNTRY Hey thanks for the reply, i ended up going with JL Audi C2-525 speakers and a JL AUDIO HX280/4 with it Bridged. this amp pushes 140 RMS continuous. and is super loud. i would recommend fits under fairing perfect. i mounted on top of the ECU.

Any trouble with rain or moisture since installing? Noticed these are not "outdoor" rated. Would be nice to upgrade the trunk speakers as well, but those would definitely be much more exposed to the elements.

No amp, sounds good at 65 -70 mph. Better when my trunk is on with the stock speaker

Definitely a drop in volume I bought the same speakers I have since reinstalled them because I replaced the stock victory radio and they work a 1000 times better
