Not sure if anyone will read this review but here goes. Honestly, this is the best game i've ever played in 2024. I love the vibrant and bright colors of the game. In the age where mainstream games always care about realism, VHR went the other way and attempt to recreate the high octane energy of the arcade days. I adore the visuals where everything were made with 2D sprites. The Super Scalers graphic to make it seems like everything is going in 3D visuals does not feel jarring at all. I never feel any disorienting in the slightest. I love the soundtrack so much, the techno tune to them makes me wanna headbump and drive even faster. I absolutely LOVE the gameplay. The drifting mechanic and the ability to drift to gain boost are so fun to be used. The controls are silky smooth and never felt like it's out of my control. I LOVE the sense of speed and LOVE how the traffic screams whenever you bump them away. (Hope you add more type of screams to make it more funnier). Played it on Steam since Friday last week till today and i never get tired of it. We need more games like Victory Heat Rally, we don't care about Sim Racers, we just need good old arcade racers and VHR filled the gap that we've been longing for. The only complain is that the game is a little short and i hope we get more tracks in the future. Also, i would love to see the developer add few more frames to the car animation. After so many delays over the years due to the developer personal reason and especially 2020 being a bad year for everyone, the fact that the game was still able to be released in its fantastic form is something for SkyDevilPalm to be proud of. The devs were very passionate about their project and it shows. A small studio with just few members and the fact that you all able to cook up a fantastic storm that is VHR, you all deserve more respects. Overall, a fantastic game and i recommend everyone to try it. 10/10.

Y'know, I've seen a few artworks of Sally as a DJ where she's just wearing her blue leotard without her brown skirt like she usually is. I hope to see that in-game as well in, maybe, a music menu or something 'cause those artworks of Sally as a DJ were hot AF. ❤
