The apostle Paul called it hypergrace in the Bible. I'll take Paul's word for it over Mike Bickle every day of the week and twice on Sunday.

From Victoria: (♡Samson's wife) Thank you so much. This message has convicted me and brought me to turn from some ways in which I was decieved. I just realized I was doing what you said, coasting on past successes and that is what made me so vulnerable. I am choosimg to pray more now and use the Word of God as a weapon against the enemy.

Shipwrecked their faith 1 Tim 1:19-20 Severed from Christ Gal 5:4 Turned aside to follow Satan 1Tim 5:15 Depart from the faith by following seducing spirits 1 Tim. 4:1 You will also be cut off (as Israel was) Rom. 11:23 Departing from the Living God Heb. 3:12-15 Taken captive in the snare of the devil 2 Tim. 2:26 Entangled and overcome by the pollution of the world 2 Pet. 2:21 As a dog returning to its vomit 2 Peter 2:22 Become as a washed sow wallowing in the mire 2 Pet. 2:22 Becoming a cast away (a fear even Paul had for himself) 1 Cor. 9:27 Getting an evil, unbelieving heart and falling away peace Heb. 3:12 'These things I have written to you concerning those who try to deceive you. But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him.' People who "let go of their dialogue with God" in my humble opinion, never even established a dialogue with God in the first place. Anyone who has, would NEVER, under any circumstances, let that dialogue slip away … it is the most precious thing he/she possesses.

Keep in mind, he is talking to his IHOP folks in this message, who have a good deal of understanding and context about what he's talking about. If you want to hear more about what he's talking about, there are a number of other messages by Mike here on youtube on the same subject, where he goes into greater depth regarding specifics about the false grace stuff he's talking about.

The Word that came to my heart Brother was the story of the spirit that volunteered to go as a lying spirit to the prophets in order to seal the judgement of the wicked king. People (lukewarm saints) will get exactly what they want ... an effortless, greasy, compromising kindofa grace that allows them to appease their consciences while they continue to go on sinning or a genuine Spirit of Grace which demands a life of holiness to please a gracious God.

Love Bickle. The whole notion that your spirit has the righteousness of God within it after salvation, as a default setting, contradicts the following scripture, 2 Corinthians 7:1 - 2 Corinthians 7:1 NASB "Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all defilement of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God." Perfecting holiness in the fear of God has two elements. One is where the believer cleanses his spirit of every thing defiling it; ie. there are spiritual sins that the believer can partake of, and it is these that defile your spirit. The bible says "he that is continually and progressively (present active verb) being joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him", I Corinthians 6:17. All of this combined suggests that there is a need for staying in repentance for things that can defile your spirit and a need for continual abiding in Jesus. The teaching that when God looks at your born again spirit, He can only see Jesus and no sin, is straight from hell. (I think that this was a so-called "revelation" given to Andrew Womack in Vietnam & other Charismatics (a group of which I consider myself). If you listen to ANYTHING from a Charismatic, you must measure it by the word. I firmly believe that Charismatics are simultaneously the biggest potential blessing & the biggest potential curse to the Body of Christ....primarily because of their "revelations" - for which they will give an account to God someday. It's not a revelation that you get, it's the interpretation of it, that can mess a lot of people up; and, its the little, bitty foxes that spoil the vine.

Jeff Gjere - I naturally avoid what I fear - the word has been mistranslated and misused ever since - my Father in heaven wants to draw me closer and this idea that I don’t qualify for that love/intimacy until I repent of everything I can think of and then for good measure repent of the sins I my have committed that I didn’t realize at the time is ridiculous - this focus on what they call hypergrace is pure bunk and harming those who seek intimacy with Him - I had a near death experience 4 months ago - I was told by doctors they gave me 0 chance of survival when I arrived at hospital - by God’s grace I did and I can tell you one thing I was at peace the whole time - confident that God loves me and I would be with him in heaven if I didn’t make it - I never once thought about some sin I may not have confessed or last minute confessional so God would be “happy” with me. The Good news is he’s already happy with me and that draws me near to him - we love him because he first loved us !

Well, much of what you described - things that you are opposed to - I am opposed to as well. "This idea that I don’t qualify for that love/intimacy until I repent of everything I can think of" or "some sin I may not have confessed or last minute confessional so God would be 'happy' with me" -- I don't like the sound of that stuff either. So I think we are in agreement on some of this. Here's the way I see it - concerning this topic, people fall into error on _either_ side. Some are unable to fully grasp the grace of God. They think we have to meet some standard of goodness or else we aren't yet in fellowship with God. But this is clearly an error - Jesus died for us when we were yet sinners. We come to God as we are, even when we are a total mess. But God doesn't leave us in that condition. The error on the other side is that no matter what we do, we stay in a right relationship with God. This just isn't true; the Bible does not support this. I understand that we aren't perfect, and that we continue to rely on the grace of God after we are saved. So when a believer is struggling with a certain sin, that's one thing. But when a person knowingly and deliberately lives a lifestyle of sin after coming to the Lord - that's a HUGE problem. That kind of thing very much CAN cause a person to fall away from the Lord. The whole issue of falling away from the Lord is a lot more nuanced and complicated than many people make it out to be. But falling away clearly is possible, and the Bible warns us about it.

Mike needs to give very specific contrasts of what scripture/doctrine is taught that he is exposing. Otherwise, the message is ambiguous. There have always been hyper-grace messages, even in Paul's day. What is different about the "last 5 years"? Though I hate when others name the offending teacher, it does help in the contrast if the teacher is a primary source of the error. Otherwise, at least list the highlights of those grace messages he wants to contrast.

The Word of Truth instructed his children to FEAR HIM. We need a healthy FEAR and reverential awe and respect for God Almighty. We aren't to fear the Adversary. We are to FEAR God. Too much focus on demons today. That in itself is demonic.

I keep doing what I don't want, and I keep not doing what I want. It's easy enough, the message of the spirit of this age in these chapters is.. There is therefore no condemnation in Christ! So if Paul can sin so can I. Amen we stop there so we can stay in our compromise. Instead of moving on to perfection in Christ! We will never know the peace which surpasses all understanding until we find perfection in Christ! Thy kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven! Looking forward to what lies ahead and forgetting what is behind...

It is also said in the Bible that you are no longer obliged to respond to the call of your flesh because you are now a new creation. Let's not make grace an excuse to sin. As blood bought saints, we ought to live our lives carefully. He is the author and perfector of our faith and the transformation happens here on earth. You can't be magically intimate with God when you get to heaven. The process of sanctification happens on earth. Ever wonder why Jesus said, 'they praise me with their lips but their hearts are far from me'? This is just an add on to what you said. Hehe

Any disagreements that surfaces in response to this msg is a reminder of the same kind faced by Apostle Paul - who was in his days considered to be an upstart ! One must read Galatians wherein his opponents to the gospel of Grace was countered vociferously by him. He even went to extremes, addressing them as foolish & Bewitched ! Why do Believers have a problem to Only believe & trust in what "He" even this day. He has done it Alone and that we not having an iota of share in His PAINFUL journey in His mission of Complete Redemption ! Alleluiah toThe Only Saviour !! Let Only JESUS be the Victor on Our behalf and we get All this for FREE !! Also be Victor's crown holders jointly with Him !! In the words of Isaiah where O Lord is a God who makes His people Raised to such heights as Our God has !!! Don't we know it is written in Hebrews that man is to be judging Angels !!!! Which was why Satan tried to sabotage HIS plans since the Garden & the last ditch try at the Grove ????

Apollo Gomes The Bible is clear that we cannot take grace and trample on it. I had set out to explore this debate. What I have found is hyper grace individuals do not have a love for Jesus like those who denounce this heresy. There are many stuck in sin who go to the hyper grace gospel for false assurance. There is a narrow road few will find. Jesus said it. Surely you don't think that narrow road is the one that lukewarm Christians are on. It is not. It is for the faithful.

Paul is not proclaiming himself a current sinner in Romans 7. The context of the chapter is Romans 7:5 - When we WERE IN THE FLESH these things worked in us fruit unto death. He then switches to an editorial I referencing himself as a convicted Pharisee describing what causes spiritual deadness and why we must be regenerated.. Romans 7:5-For *when we were in the flesh*, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death. Romans 8:13 - For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.

Those that hold to the false grace theology hate repentance, they will not receive correction from God. And behind that is the spirit of Jezebel, she refused to repent also. Jezebel creates the fog.

You have no idea what people who believe in grace believe if you think we hate repentance. Perhaps this is true of some but it’s not what is taught regarding grace, or hyper grace, or whatever you want to call it. People thinking they have anything to do with their salvation is what is false teaching.
