It always takes a long time to do elaborate hairstyles, especially when just starting out. To give you reference, it once took me almost 4 hours to do 20s wave, to set it all in place the way I wanted, but I was happy with results. Some other time it took me 2, still didn't turn out the exact way I wanted, I didn't feel like continuing and just left it as is which was also nice, but a different look. Even when you know what you're doing there are "bad hair days".

I'm glad I'm not the only one re-doing such things in frustration, while others wouldn't even notice the difference between the first and last 😂. I liked the first one you did, but yes it was a bit more inside so not showing as this voluminous roll, great job🌸

Its really beautiful. I was trying although my hair is much shorter, once you get the idea of making the rolls around your fingers, it gets easier. I found setting it in pin curls gives you lots of practice too. Onward and upward...hopefully I will be victorious (my hair puts up a good fight though!).
