The 1964 Dodge Hemi is one of the best looking cars there is. Love it.

Ronnie. Sox. King of the shifter. And by the way one Hell of a nice guy. I had just finished my 65. Coronet rebuild. Back in 1990. Ronnie brought all the old school cars, to the Dodge City Shoot out in milw. Wis. Our. Strip is Great Lakes Dragway. Mr. Sox... Watched my first run , Told me 60 foot time sucked, then,he told me how to cut that time. By a Bunch. Well. I listened. . i did what he said with my 4 speed shifting. and Golly gee ... Took 1. 75 seconds off my time.. R.I.P. Ronnie.. See you on the other side ..

Howdy from hot-azz Tucson, Arizona! Hey, I'm reading your description now after watching this video and drooling all over myself because of this incredible 8-sec monster MoPar! One thing that didn't seem to sound right was when I read "an original Max-Wedge '64 Hemi 330". I kept re-reading it and finally it dawned on me that it has either got to be a WEDGE or a HEMI....it can't be both....lol! Obviously, it's a hemi car. Do you see what I mean? I'm sure it was just a slip-up mentally on your part...hell, I do it all the time anymore. Keep your killer vids coming, please!
@victoryredcolorado4 жыл бұрын
Thanks! Yes your right I must have mixed up the info. This was years back and I can remember the owner telling me the details and I try to keep notes but sometimes what I hear and what I write down doesn't jive. Here's a max wedge I shot that's not quite a Hemi 😁 kzbin.info/www/bejne/jGbSlaOPfbZlo6c

I'll never understand why people are into Hondas when this car runs 8 seconds in the quarter on all motor and is also like 60 years old almost
@antt45926 жыл бұрын
billyfromtheusa yes I totally agree I don't get me wrong I don't have anything against turbos or superchargers but when people in the 60s or on an 8-second so I'm just motor that's what sucked me into it plus my dad always had a muscle car in the garage when I was growing up my first car was a 69 4 door Caprice with matching numbers Factory 427 425 horse, it's on my Google Plus page
@antt45926 жыл бұрын
billyfromtheusa yeah it's sad because they have a stalk like 130 horsepower Honda and it's the fastest thing on the planet but you can get her old muscle car stock with like 300 horsepower and it's actually fast or can make it even faster with just a few simple bolt ons

@7071t67 жыл бұрын
Ye right tee o, if you say so fool, i have seen my fare share of 1/4 miles drags and to date most cars with over 2,500 HP just get it under 7 seconds, like the australian charger that did the drags circuit driving the car to all the events and your telling me that a stock 330 is doing 1/4mile in 8 seconds no way on this earth champ ? also with a 2 speed auto and over 2,500 HP and your 330 mopar is getting 8 second in the 1/4 mile i dont think so champ also a manual car and not a drag set up auto which are mostly 2 speed airlinko autos ?
