Would you by chance be able to show us a video of the FM Antenna wire and its connection? I am considering installing an amplified FM/AM Amplified Antenna to my Grandmother's radio to help her listen to some of her favorite AM and FM stations. I've been trying to figure out the best way to do it with the FM Single Wire Antenna, but I'm scared to open the back of her radio until I have an idea of what I need to do.

How did you get power to the leds and can you put some higher quality pictures to the points solder to up?

I might have to do a redo of the video but basically you jump the resistor on the backplate and there is 4 guide holes for lights that are undrilled behind the plastic dial plate

I used a precision flat head, also pull the dial off by hand its easy, the plastic dial face only has 3 clips, its a press fit i used small jewelers pliers in my case as they had no hard edges to scuff anything

at 1:00 you can pause it there, theres two terminals I soldered to the blank led connections on the board, they are labeld, and I jumped the resistor spot with a bit of solder, i did it this way cause the wire i had on hand was heavier then needed

it was my first mod on a radio, but there really isnt much to it, you put two pins on the pcb where its labled LED and bridge the resistor if using this cob led ring in the dial, you can use resistors and the proper LEDs but my soldiering skills are still very much in their beginnings
