Two mistakes in vid... Add hot water to corn to about one inch below rim. My hot water bath was about 2 :15 min as i did not use a pressure cooker, and im at 4300 feet. Putting away veggies in jars i think is better because if the power goes out in your refrigerator you may lose food fast...

I thought you would be making another alcohol. Everything you make looks so delicious. I'm on track for another push in my weight loss. Down about 18lbs now. In the mean time many lower income families are going on forced diets because of our transitory president. God help us.

Right off the cobb. Will put away about 10 quarts of corn for the next year... Just harvested about 5 dozen more and began the process again... When i need some corn in a few months, just open a jar and boil it and thats some of my food for the day.. or mix it with jello / icecream mais con jello...lol

You might think im a conspiracy guy, but its proven that tons of shit is falling on the earth from cloud seeding and its been proven...like aluminum, silver iodide, urea or carbamide and the like. Much of my plants this year was sad, very sad...even in my tunnel house. My tomatoes suffered greatly and i can't figure it out... I am getting tons of butternut squash and im glad, i love that. I did make one gallon of red wine, lol. Even my grapes suffered... Damn Biden...

You said the salt is a preservative. All videos I've watched say no, salt does not preserve. I don't understand that, because I do fermenting, which is adding a salt-water brine to the veggies to preserve it! Anyway, thanks for your tips. I do have to say that I chuckled because the container you are using is exactly like the one I have that I do my foot soaks in! LOL! So, I WON'T be using that for my corn!

I have used that to soak my feet also... I sanitize it after that. lol Salt is a preservative. The founders of USA in covered wagons used salt to preserve meats as well. Thanks DP.. BTW salt is optional. I think the most important aspect is the time under water or in pressure cooker. Im still alive and i eat the corn....
