You could have gone with R3 1200/B350/1050ti... If you find a good deal, you should add $60 on that budget tops,you will have a upgrade path and performance will be like 30% better than that 😀

I had already purchased the G4560 earlier in the year, so I stuck with it for this build. I have a few used build videos on their way but the next new build video will be a budget Ryzen system :)

This is still a capable PC, no doubt about that, but i think that the upgrade path is a bit limited due to the new Intel Coffee Lake architecture and the format of the motherboard. I know, it is a mini itx build which looks gorgeous, but as a budget gamer, i think that the upgrade path is also important when choosing components for a gaming pc 😄

Yeah, the motherboard has a gen 3 PCI-e slot, so it's fully compatible.
