So I had made a comment on Wade's take on this fight saying that I disagree that this is the greatest influencer performance. For 2 reasons and I'm glad you guys slightly addressed it; 1. I can't tell w/o a doubt that Kenny was that good or if Nunes was that bad.. 2. Do we not consider Jake to be an "influencer boxer" anymore.. if so since when? was it after Silva? Also I'm not hating on Kenny at all, I have no reason to.. nor do I favor any fighter more than him. I have 0 connection to any fighters personally. However I truly believe Gib Vs Mcbroom 1 was more impressive(because of the situation/context), and Deen Vs Walid. I personally like seeing a more even fight were there is a comeback. So maybe the Kenny fight was just too 1 sided for me and maybe it was 100% earned on his part, and had little to do with Nunes not being on point. But to me personally this was not the "greatest performance" out of all influencer boxing, even though it was Kenny's best and is definitely up there with some of the greatest.

A performance is based on what was given by all parties. In one corner you have Kenny who is doing showboating against a slow inactive opponent and everyone thinks he is amazing. On the other hand you got nunes barely moving, very slow and looks like a human punchbag. Real people know it's super easy to look good when no danger is coming your way.
