Another amazing song from touhou 11, and curiously a very medieval-like one.... It still stands as one of the most emotional musics on the series, even if it only has kinda of 2 main melodies... Also.... Satori maiden cameo again... I am very excited to when you actually make a cover of it!(its my favorite one) And something from the title gives me an idea....If we dont consider the actuall game lore, a “deserted” hell would be considered empty, that means that are no people being punished and most people actually were good enough to go to heaven....its gives me hope for humanity haha Amazing cover as always!

What Touhou 11 and Touhou 10 have in common is that none of their soundtracks are mediocre (by Touhou standards). I don't know how Zun managed to pull it off, maybe he drank a lot more alcohol than usual when he made those games.

It's still kinda funny how much harder Touhou 11 was compared to the previous titles back when it came out. For an average player doing Normal 1CCs, jumping from 6-7-8-10 and then 11 was kinda nuts. There's a noticeable difference in difficulty. Then 12 came out and it was even harder lol

The timing on this. Great work Viddy. I like how calm and slightly melancholic this track is. Love the Satori theme in there too. I just finished SA the other day. The music was impeccable as always but I kind of started to hate Orin and it tainted my experience with the whole game. My journey to 1cc every game has been tough but for the first time I had to actually go down to Easy to get a clear because Orin was too much for me. One day I may go back for a Normal 1cc but Power based bombs is probably my least favorite mechanic the series has ever done so it's not likely I ever revisit MoF or SA. Maybe this is just a preemptive humbling before LoLK? 🥲

Interestingly enough, the power-based bomb system in Touhou 10 and 11 is kind of a curse for a player who's just starting out...but it can actually become a blessing once you study the stages. There are some instances throughout the games where you can bomb and literally re-gain the lost power without many consequences. It's actually kinda funny lol
