Yesterday we went to the second largest Hindu temple in the world, and it happens to be on American soil. It is called BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir in Robbinsville, NJ

Volunteers carved and installed about 2,000,000 cubic feet (57,000 m3) of stone, equating to about 4.7 million hours of work.

About 75% of the Akshardham campus is designed, constructed, managed, and maintained by swamis and volunteers. Between 2011 and 2023, over 12,500 people volunteered to build the mandir.

In the end people who don’t follow hinduism must understand and respect the fact that its is a sacred place made for worship. Non hindus are allowed because we believe in univeralism and don’t discriminate. But also its not dumb to restrict filming inside because its a place for prayer and worship and not for tourism.

Nagara style Hindu architecture, mainly practiced in the Northwest part of India one among the 3 major Hindu architectures. Like this there are 100s of different styles of Hindu architectures which can be traced back to the ancient scriptures of temple construction called the Agamas. Temple construction and sculpting was a major branch of knowledge and job in ancient India thus people pursue the ancient knowledge for construction, even today. So its the only culture among the world that is continuously constructing such monuments since ancient times while other cultures like Mayans Aztecs and Egyptians dont do it anymore. These structures will stand for 1000s of years like the ancient megaliths, because its purely made out of stone and stones will last with minimum maintenance requirements.

It(Photography prohibition) is not at all dumb ma'am. Temples are considered sacred spaces where devotees go to worship and seek spiritual solace. It is a place to connect with your inner self & leave all the distractions outside the temple. There are many other logical reasons as well. If you read about some of the philosophies for the same, you will get to know a lot better.

According to an old Hindu legend, all men on earth were Gods. Man sinned and thereupon the Brahma God, the God of all Gods, deciding to remove man's God head and hide it where Man would not find it, called a council of the Gods. One God recommended that the God head be hidden deep down in the ground. Another God counseled that the God head be hidden atop the highest mountain. A third God suggested that it be sunk in the deepest part of the ocean. Each of these the Brahma God re- jected-he said: "Man will dig deep into the earth. Man will climb the highest mountain, Man will search out the bottom of the seas and Man would find the God head." Finally, the God of Wisdom said: "Let us hide it down in Man himself." "Yes," said the Brahma God, "we will hide the God head there, because Man will never think to look for it within himself."

@@matrixmayaearthandwe6478 I read this in a book called “new water for a thirsty world” I’m not sure where it originated. I also listen to a lot of people who say similar things. Sonja being one, mooji being another, Archaix, Jesus teachings points to that, Eckhart Tolle and many more. I have also read and am always reading parts of the Avadhuta Gita which points to the same thing ❤️ “Avadhuta Gita is a Sanskrit text of Hinduism whose title means "Song of the free soul". The text's poetry is based on the principles of Advaita and Dvaita schools of Hindu philosophy.” ❤️🤗

Hinduism is a philosophy even hindu name is not ours it's Persian who gave it we had a oldest civilisation I guess you know about it indus valley civilisation which was civilized near a river ' Sindhu ' Persian were older trade partners and they struggled to say Sindhu in Persian 's' is pronounced as 'h' so they called humans who lives near Sindhu are Hindu that's how we got our name it a philosophy if you practice meditation and yoga then automatically you are practicing Hinduism irrespective of religion there is no concept of conversation at the end both the religion teaches peace and love ❤❤

Beauty and architecture went hand in hand in the ancient world. It evokes feelings of such joy, beauty and love. I think most of today's architecture is devoid of joy and evokes nothing but coldness. I see a lot of comments on here by people who must of must come across this video because you filmed a temple and not because they even know all the info that you have been sharing. Wow... beautiful workmanship! 😍 What a shame, though, that they go to all this effort over looks only, and don't understand that the structures themselves were technology, and built the way that they're built to do multiple things. No elementals will abide in or visit those structures right there - because of the electricity, and the lack of antiquatech that they did internally to the foundations and ceilings that would normally be connecting the earth to the heavens... which was THE WHOLE POINT!!! A HOLY SPACE MUST abide by the laws of nature that allows one's auric field and soul-spirit TO EXPAND, TO MERGE with the environment and spiritual planes accessible there. Dan Winters calls this being highly 'plasma projective'; when you can perfectly expand or collapse your plasma field symmetrically. And places like this were frequented, & used to enable you to do just that... Such a shame.
