Another excellent video review! This is a great episode. It deals with important human issues in a realistic and sweet way. I’m getting sad to think your reviews will be ending soon.

great break down of the different styles of the Bronson bikes. love the way you described the difference in styles and also showed the Hondas and your bigger Harley that were transposed into Bronson bikes. keep up the good work.

Is there a way that we can bring this show back to life?? They don't have anything worth watching one television today.

this comment was for the previous video 28 ! I lived in pacific grove in 1975 ! I have been up and down HWY 1 many many times ,my wife was staying in at shell beach slo , and on a vn900 Kawasaki in 2014 ! when I was in the service at ft ord in 76 ,that is not there now , I had a cheery ed out 71 Datsun pickup with a six pack camper shell ,I slept many nights in turnout down there after I lost my apartment because of some military BS ! I couldn't sleep in the barracks because there was five kinds of music playing full bast trying to hear over the other !

I liked this episode because, as Peter Loosigian points out, it does deal with important human issues. But a lot of episodes in the series did that. They kind of low-key stuck them in on us. We thought we were watching a show about a motorcyclist, but it was really a character study of all the wacky people Bronson met along the way. I think this episode was perfectly cast. Even the boatyard owner comes off as sympathetic and kind in his own way. Good writing, there. And this episode did not suffer the pacing issues that some of the other's did. That said, I think the boy's "recovery" from his emotional issues was a bit too quick. In real life that turnaround wouldn't have happened quite that fast. I guess all he really needed was a girl in a bikini pestering him for sex all the time (I'm projecting here a little) and an invitation to cruise down to Acapulco! Then again, don't we all? But hey - as we have to keep saying as we watch TCB, "It's not a documentary!" I love these little recaps of the episodes! You do good work, Tom :)

Thank you and I agree with what you said about the recovery time for Carl and a character study!

What do they say, the best day of boat ownership is, the day you buy it and the day you sell it?

Cant you just play the show and not say anything. Show pretty much explains itself.

No, Warner Brothers tried to stop my videos until I explained that I was trying to keep the shows memory alive. You can get the complete series by going to jimbronson.com and click on the store tab.
