Loved this guy practically brought me up till I was 10 he was the first man who ever bought me a fishing rod and reel and taught me fishing he also bought my first jack russel called mitch who got killed in the early 70s when he following me to school and was hit by a car on broadway I can still see it today as i was a heart broken kid aged 6 I also had my first pidgeon which I enticed down from the roof of that house which turned out to be a white fantail his mum lived next door and passed away in the early 70s we had many good times playing on the rowing boats at sandal park we had good times at Stainforth open air swimming baths these are memories ile never forget as long as I live thank you Ray for everything you did for us all as children ❤️ rip Ray 🙏 my mum pat has now joined you 💔 I've just sent this our Jane and Diane as I'm over welmed with omotion seeing it you was an amazing guy with a heart of gold .and we all thank you for everything and the memories we had together that can never be taken away xxx
