I really enjoyed this and learned a lot. Aesthetically, i tend to like the Hubble Palette better.

Nice images. Your SHO editing results in images that look the way I like, not too overpowering. Here's a question though; Color represents the gases but we manipulate the colors. So in a final SHO image what color represents what gas? I think in the SHOO, the red is a little too overpowering though, perhaps because the Sulphur red is a deeper red and darkens the color a lot.

I'd answer that by saying Hydrogen is everywhere. The change in color from blue (Oxygen) to red (Sulphur) are the key indicators of those gasses. Agree the SHOO is very red - but then again so is the true color.
