Operating Gain Circles Part 1.
Writing 2-port S-parameter files (.s2p) and using them for amplifier design.
Amplifier design for a specific gain with a stable device.
Operating gain circles (GPC_MAX) and maximum available gain (GMAX).
Effects of this technique on input and output VSWR.
Using sub-circuits in MWO.
Version 13 update: In version 13, “To” and “From” ports must now be specified for a number of two-port measurements. This was not required for version 12 or earlier.
The measurement “GM1()” shown in the video has now been replaced by GM1(2,1) in version 13. That is "To port"=2, "From port"=1.
“GM2()” has also been replaced by GM2(2,1).
The measurement “MU1()” shown in the video has now been replaced by MU1(2,1) in version 13. "MU2()" has also been replaced by MU2(2,1).
The measurement "GMax()" shown in the video has now been replaced by GMax(2,1).
The measurement "GPC_MAX(1,4)" shown in the video has now been replaced by "GPC_MAX(2,1,1,4) i.e. "To port"=2, "From port"=1, "Gain step"=1, "Number circles"=4.The measurement "GPC_MAX(2.38,2)" shown in the video has now been replaced by "GPC_MAX(2,1,2.38,2) i.e. "To port"=2, "From port"=1, "Gain step"=2.38, "Number circles"=2.
