Y2K not YZK. Everyone was worried all the computers would go to 1900 instead of 2000 at midnight. Apparently it would have caused world wide computer havoc.

@@dark_melody9265 When computer systems were first made, the year only indicated the last two numbers (ex. 97 instead of 1997). Since we were nearing the 2000s, it was believed that it would cause havoc and mess with power plants, banks, etc. If you want to know more in depth, I recommend you search up Y2K Bug!

Incorrect. Ya girl further down has it. All the 90s peeps were scared the computers and technology would go haywire with some Y2K bug. Possibly then it lead to style trends. Also. This makes me feel so freaking old.

y2k I think is more late 90s to early 00s than just early 2000s, specifically 1998-2001(??)

Once we all realised we weren’t gonna have some mass computer/world shutdown at 12.01am 2000 not a worry …Apparently then maybe it became some fashion thing? 🤷‍♀️🤣 (I was 10 for that NYE and remember the feeling of relief after the countdown that the world had not, in fact, ended & the computers had not yet turned against us)

@@nikkio197 I don’t think they’re really wrong, Y2K literally just means Year 2000. The bug probably became the most famous association with Y2K, but it was known by a bunch of other names. My brother still knows programmers who had to work their asses off for months to fix the problem before it could take effect.

I am loving your videos and Enhypen is my personal favorite Kpop group. They have such a wide variety of styles in their discography. As an older Engene I appreciated the throwback to Y2K. We had some great music back then and that NYE will be forever memorable to those of us who anxiously waited to see if all the computers shut down at midnight. I am a multistan, my other favs are SKZ and BTS, but there’s so many incredible Kpop groups out there. I love SVT, TXT, NCT, Ateez and keep up with most of their stuff as well, but there is only so much time in the day and being an adult comes with way too many responsibilities. Lol Love from the USA to fellow Kpop fans! P.S. I hope Stan the Stand gets adopted soon!!🇺🇸🥰🔀💜
