You make me realize that editor has to be intimate with the genisis of the story in order to edit footage. In a 3, 4 minute MV there’s no time to waste. Every angle, transition, frame would have to not only tell a story (if there’s a story arch) but also match the beat and structure of a song. Thank you Jordan. I come away learning something new :)

Two things that I liked which are probably tied more into story telling than editing: 4:02 when cop IN shoots the giant heart and it explodes, turning into IN! And at the start when they first get possesses they're in bright vibrant colours and the cops are in almost solid black, but as the story progresses the colours get more blocky and the cops are on screen less and less until it seems that they've merged together (when seungmin rewinds to the start theyre in the darker colours instead of the brights they were acrually wearing) finally, in the end scene they are in black *and* blocking (but neutral) colours!

4:09 when u laughed at Felix randomly popping on with the “owww” 😆 i really like how at the end of the vid- the 143 has the heart intertwined as part of the 4 and the 3. I also loved how they had Lee Know jump down to the other screen. So cool. Thank you for explaining the storyline cuz tbh I had no idea what was going on. There was too much to look at with the colors and different scenes so I got easily distracted when I first watched their mv 🥲

I'm just gonna have to say thisvsong is amazing for a title track. I love everything about is as the vocals and raps are in point as ever and Jisung is just completely wreckig me this comeback what I mean by this is he has jumped straight to being my ult wrecker (I'm not ready to have 3 ult biases in SKZ yet) and this man just does something to not only my ears when he raps but also to my eyes. I just love the way he raps as to me it's unique in a way. Also I gotta give my love to my two ult biases Felix and Hyunjin as they also did such an amazing job. The MV is everything I needed and I love the use of the colour pink aswell as it's one of my fav colours also I'm loving the story aswell and the lads did something they haven't done before and that's having a love song as the title track. I think parts that the beat is peace was the time those boys were day-dreaming about the love and getting softer and softer then they realized those feeling and turned back to hard-core beat. As we can see, the colorful outfit is represent for the “Love” emotion and police costume one is the “Denial”. “Denial” tried to find the cause of “Love” and tried to get rid of it. But in the end, Seungmin like “Nahh”, went back to get all the emotion they had about “Love”, and the outfit change again. They were black and white outfit as the police costume, but had the colorfull detail from the “Love” costume. That was “Acceptance”, they acctepted that feeling of love

Thankyou for telling this from a story tellers point of view. This track has so much layers to it and I loved the way the story of the Mv played out. They had mentioned that this album and song in particular was to show stays their love and appreciation and can’t hold back. If we start counting the number of letters the sentence "I love you" has, it will have eight letters so he basically means that he loves us, and us as in stays who support, love, and watch Stray Kids.

Ah, every Stay’s dream 😂 the entire group just popping out of your computer screen! Btw, I interpret the boys wearing the new black outfits and dancing in the pink heart filled background towards the end as them going for the relationship, but they’re still maintaining some caution and logic. I mean, when you’re a K-pop star, trust can be a touchy subject. (It also kind of makes sense to release this song right now, their label has a 3 year dating ban and they’re on year 4) And Jordan! If you want to check out a more spooky music video inspired by The Shining, I really recommend Dreamcatcher’s Chase Me and its sequel Goodnight! It’s got some pretty cool editing to create some creepy imagery and even though you can tell the budget wasn’t super high, everyone worked super hard on it.
