These are not back up dancers. They are the famous marching band Blue Devils of L A and this is shot in LA. There is a behind the scenes video too. It was all in a day's work.

They are back up dancers. Most were back up dancers they were dance crew from "The Lab Studios" where Sienna Lalau is part of. Some were from marching bands who were holding the big instruments.

One thing to always keep in mind when evaluating their vocals - they do all of that LIVE. They sing THAT well while doing ALLLLLLL of that (dancing, performing, acting, etc) LIVE. In my opinion, that automatically pushes them into top tier level vocalists. And when you get into the nuances of their vocals in studio recordings, and live performances sans dancing, they become even more impressive.

I am one of those people who caused the Kinetic Manifesto Film to have more views than the actual MV. I have nothing against the stunning visuals and story telling in the MV, but my personal opinion is that ON is a performance song, and visualizing the choreography, combined with the lyrics and the sharpness of the video give so much more energy to the song. I've seen the official MV about 4 times but the Kinetic Manifesto Filmat at least 80.

Since y'all are all about making videos, you might enjoy watching the making of this video that is on BangtanTV: 'ON' Kinetic Manifesto Film MV shooting. It was all shot in one day - like many have already said. Actually, it appears that you can type into the search bar on KZbin any song title that has a music video followed by MV Shooting and find a BTS of BTS of it. I really enjoy when you have the panel of the three of you analyzing the filming aspects since I don't know any of this and it brings such a greater appreciation to what BTS and BigHit do that is so impressive down to the littlest details. I love how Bang PD with his degree in Aesthetics from the top Seoul National University in Korea mentors these guys. We've been give minuscule peeks into this mentorship from time to time over the years and I'm convinced it has enhanced BTS's individual abilities in the over all storyboard and aesthetics for each shot that we get glimpses of them monitoring while they take a break and get ready to shoot again. Y'all, I'd totally watch the entirety of a reaction video - if y'all had the time - of the MV followed by the MV Shooting video all in one go. Just letting you know. BTS was backed up by dancers from The Lab, the Blue Devil Drumline, a gospel choir, and the UCLA Brass, these is not hidden information. There is a great " The Making of" you may want to review. I'm not sure I understand how you all evaluated the video in the cut up presentation that I saw. Jmt as an art professional I find viewing a creation in total is the best way to analyze effectively. My feeder was chopped of continuity. Maybe less on complexion and more on the meaning of the " the shadow like me" tatoo. Just saying...Stay well
