My son Gabriel (7) has an idea for you: make cookies joined by toothpicks for moving parts. For instructions: Just take a full-grown toothpick and cut the middle. Since you have the middle, all you have to do is poke it through the cookie, and then take another full-grown toothpick, and put it on the part you want the cookie to move. Then you can just hold the cookie and move its joints.
