By the way, the sax at 2:05 was performed by Dr. Mark Engebretson! Just wanted to give credit.

Seriously, development teams have no idea what they're missing out on by not hiring you. I hope you find more composing work, you deserve it more than anyone else I know!

Oh that Great Palace cover. I remember learning somebody in the community had covered both NES Zeldas using VRC6 during one of the worst periods of my life; pandemic was the least of my issues, honestly. I had gotten through your first Zelda OST thinking it was very well done and creative, but nothing could've prepared me for the whiplash I felt during Zelda 2's. I thought I had heard everything possible after Kasuto, but when that riff hit in Great Palace, I knew then and there the community had a complete legend on our hands. That was how I had fully discovered your work. Not only did that OST and especially that cover help get me through a bad time, it brought me back to covering again. Believe me: if I had the money, resources, and projects that would require chiptune *and* I felt like it would be out of my league, I'd go to you first--that's how spectacular I think you are with this program, and I truly hope you're able to make good income through your talents.

do you have any tips or advice for aspiring composers on how to find their first projects to work on??
@IsabelleChiming2 ай бұрын
@@sum1else2 my honest best advice is to A. Make music and post it! Keep making and posting it! People will start to notice eventually! And B. Make friends with other musicians! Join Discord servers and talk to people! Join them on their game nights or whatever! And then you’ll have “connections” as people call them. Hope that helps?
