I listened to your "PlayStation 2 Drum & Bass DJ Mix" the other day and thought "I wonder if this person has heard the "Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex for the PS2" OST and so it put a smile on my face to see it included in this older mix! 😁 Great work on these mixes by the way. This genre of music just feels like it's made for me and I think it started with MGS2's OST back in 2001 and the incredible mix of Jungle & Breakcore mixed with real sounding Jazz instruments. I'll make my way through your other mixes. 👍

Electrosphere was so ahead of its time. I wish we'd gotten the original anime version of the game here in the U.S. We missed out on most of the story elements. Still a great game though.

@@greentoaster Yes! If you want to keep on that DnB I recommend the album Sumo Jungle My favorite works of his are Far East Recording 1 and 2, that also feature his partner in crime, Shinichiro Yokota. Those are house music records and there is some seriously amazing stuff there!

Rage Racer BGM was pretty much Jungle / D'N'B evolved from RRR(RR2) and RR's - 'Rave' / 'J-Techno' sounds of the sampling Masters and namco sound team. Good ol MSR though the daddy to Project Gotham Racing. Some absolute banging tunes on that game.

This is really cool! Thank you especially for taking the effort to also include in-game footage, that's a nice touch. I love listening to atmospheric drum and bass every now and then, but I wouldn't have found any of these tracks easily (didn't grow up playing these games). So it's a nice discovery queue as well. Thank you for adding timestamps in the description, needs to be said. As for suggestions, check out the LEGO Drome Racers OST. "Blue Valley" is a sweet house track, but it's probably too late to be included in your first house mix, maybe part 2. Maybe Metroid Prime's "Ice Valley (Phendrana Deep Lake Area)" could be part of some mix as well, although I'm not sure where it would fit.
