Am loving your gorgeous stencil with the glitter paste! I have that paste and Color Bursts so will try this out too!! I sometimes put spray adhesive on my stencils to prevent spreading underneath. It has helped me a great deal since I can't hardly do blending without those results.

I kind of love the one you did that the water went under stencil. It looked as though it was planned because it's on one half and the other half is white. Never thought to use brushos on top of this medium. Thanks

Oh so exciting and such wonderful ideas! What happens if you just let the first one dry more? Will the stencil stick to the glass bead glitter?
@CatherinePooler
@CatherinePooler 7 жыл бұрын
the glass bead glitter gel takes a LONG time to dry...like an hour or two, so it would have to dry for a while before it would stick.

I love that you ALWAYS manage to make it gorgeous in the end even when a hiccup happens midway, lol. You remain calm and keep at it. I get frustrated, give up and throw it away. I think I have to start seeing it through when that happens, maybe I'd be pleasantly surprised and it'll turn out like yours. Thanks for inspiring.

I have had great results with the glass bead gel and distress ink. Just use the ink over a stencil, the apply the gel medium. You don't have to wipe off the stencil, just don't keep moving around the medium more than once and only in one direction. Leave the project dry over night. When you look in the morning, it looks like rock candy.

Question: By adding water to the surface of the fresh Glass Bead Glitter Gel, don't you just end up with an enormous mess? I'm not being critical, just interested in whether there should be a waiting time before you add the colouring agents. I really love the appearance of the "wet" sample (the way the colours had pooled really looked amazing.) TFS> :)
