The so called “pride flag” is so horrific. The rainbow represents a sign from God that he would never destroy the earth by floods again. Why did the gays choose that beautiful symbol?? The order only reinstates that there are 2 reconized sexes and people will be referred by their sex when it comes to legislation and legal action instead of by a gender. This isnt "making only two genders valid ". It is catgorizing individuals by their physical sex (of which there is only male and female, with rare cases having a mixture of the two) instead of self identifying characteristics and the vast social concept of gender. Ethnicity works the same way. There are people who identify as Irish American and Hai Chinese, and these individuals consider themselves socially distinct from German Americans and Han Chinese. These identities are social constructs that can be very subjective but also very important to the individual. However, when catogorizing these individuals in legislation or the medical field, they would be defined by their race category and not by their proclaimed ethnicity.
