Sorry for your loss😢. All your hard work in setting up your new pond will definitely benefit your fish tho, system looks great. Proves to us you dont have to spend a fortune to potentially get great results. Try to focus on the positives.

Oh dammit. Keith i am so sorry this has happened. I could feel your distress. And i fully get it, you do everything right, make their environment better, and this happens. I am with you when say about the high water level with no protection around. But in saying that, they can jump over a metre. Look at that big chag that Tim waddington filmed (i think in wales), pond was netted and he jumped and actually broke the net. I have a friend who is netted and one of it jumped, went through the net and then got stuck on the top of the net as he couldnt fall back in the pond. It is so difficult to know what to do. May be build a cover with the net that you can lift up when you are around or filming etc... and when you leave the greenhouse, you can lower the net again.

Thanks Lau, it was very painful, mainly guilt and sadness. My dream pond would have a built in window not this new trend. Old style pond building had several decorative courses above fibreglass or liner to mitigate this but this new modern style doesn't. Its all about infinity views and low lines. I'm convinced more fish are lost than many care to admit. I've taken action for reasons you'll see in my next video! Cheers

Thanks and good to hear. If I do my dream pond with window the window will be built in to the wall so have a couple of blocks above so water level also well below, no net or sides needed.

Sorry loss water quality mostly cause fish jumping ammonia nitrite mostly cause yes like say I have window water level hight glass never had fish jump past experience always water issues cause, parasite flickering' ammonia nitrite they want out pond 35 years keeping koi yes I also lost fish same way years ago costly experience water right fish right water wrong fish out.
