Video resume mistakes: 1. Starting the camera and walking into the shot. 2. Poor camera angle 3. Distracting background - find a nice, neutral background 4. Poor lighting 5. Poor eye contact - look directly into the camera 6. Don't read your resume' or shuffle papers around 7. Sound Quality - invest in a small lavaliere mic. 8. Don't improvise - practice 9. Avoid excessive facial jewelry 10. Don't get too personal

Thanks for the compliment! I use iMovie, the software that comes preinstalled in a Mac. I had very little experience editing video and I was able to learn iMovie within an hour. Good luck on your projects!!

I too am a Mac/iMovie user. It is plenty of powerful enough. If you are a Windows user, there is Video Maker, I think it comes free with Windows.
