Hey hi Paul, As usual a great review!!...I just picked this up tonight as I had sold my Avengers Loki some time ago...Indeed a great Sculpt and Figure in general!! The Face and head are the right size as I think the first version had to make the head a fraction smaller due to having to wear the helmet...thus making this one much more realistic!! I love the longer hair!!... looks fantastic!!!...I am very happy with this version...Keep up the great reviews mate!!....Graeme from Australia

I say that it's good that they came out with a second Loki. To me it shows that the company could be listening to,or reading the suggestions of what the fans of their products think. We all want to learn and improve what we do as a skill, why wouldn't the artists do any less at SideShow. Choices offered,improvements made, that's all their fans can ask for. Nice review of Loki(s).

Ben563 I should do a Q&A about this sometime LOL Hot Toys is a company based out of Hong Kong. Sideshow is based here in the U.S. Sideshow is the official distributor of Hot Toy products here in North America. But sideshow also does make some of their own products....hope that helps

Yes, Loki on the throne makes sense... He covets the throne, was on the throne at the end of the movie and with basically no accessories you should have come with Odin's staff AT LEAST!

Optibotimus! Do you believe HotToys will ever realease another Odin? Or Haimdall, Sif or any of the warriors 3? A really wanna see a Hot Toys Haimdall :(

I doubt they'd do any of the Warriors Three. I wouldn't mind an updated Odin. The one from the first movie is great and has a place in my collection, but i'd love seeing them update the portrait of Anthony Hopkins. Haimdall i would want more than any of the other ones though.

The face of the original is sculpted that way to fit the Helmet. It looks better when he wears the Helmet. Still, both are very nice.

Actually, with the foot shackles, I'm not quite sure they're completely inaccurate, since they're not even all that visible in the film itself. Watching the movie again, I find it quite hard to see them. Based on what they had to work with, I think it's still well done with as much accuracy as possible.

He was such weak villain in the Avengers. Not even remotely menacing or appealing for that matter. And his presence in the sequel as a comedy relief was the only little stroke of light of the over-all atrocious movie. Yet the figure is incredible as always :D
