I've always liked Prowl more... but I'd be lying if I didn't admit to Bluestreak being the more sexy of the two. And despite Smokescreen being my least favorite of the three, I'm over half tempted to order him based on how awesome Prowl and Bluestreak came out.

Out of the three my favourite is Bluestreak, I think its the realistic car paint scheme and colours of the robot mode that seal the deal.

I have to agree with you, this is my favorite of the three. Reasons are a little different though. The coloration. The other two focus on gimmicks, rather it be police car or race car. Bluestreak just looks sublime, his car form seems to pop out at you even in robot mode in an understated black or silver. Love it.

He looks awesome! Bluestreak will always hold a place in my heart as one of the first TFs I ever had. His broken carcass is still laying in a drawer in my parents' house. Maybe one day I can afford this guy so he can be whole again.

Just keep working on them. Always learn and try new things. Remember, i've been doing this for over 6 years now. It's taken a long time to get things how they are and i'm still not 100% satisfied

I dont know if my eyes are going bad or maybe its the angle. When u showed his vehicle mode at an angle the door is a darker shade than the quarter panel. Please correct me if im wrong. Glad to see you're back to reviewing.

Optibotimus have you heard of the third party add on for the jetfire set that you can combine with your optimus prime. I think you check it out and get that because it is much better than combining your jetfire to your prime

When you attach the cannon to the shoulder cannon you're supposed to keep it collapsed. That keeps it secure.

Story is; Bluestreak fell into Hasbro's stupid trademark reasons and he is choking in the trademarks,nothing is blue in here in Bluestreak but everything is blue in Silverstreak,why you don't helped to the Bluestreak, Takara? Instead of helping,Takara gave him more silly name like other victim Optimus Prime and his new name is the "Streak" other victim Optimus is renamed as "Convoy" even Primal became Optimus' namesake by Takara. Don't think Hasbro's trademarks silly. There is bad,worse and worst.

These Masterpiece figures are just amazing!! Great review! Pretty sure Masterpiece will be the only Transformers line I collect. With a few select third party figures as the exceptions. Maybe you have mentioned it in another review else where... but, are we going to get the entire DinoBots team from Masterpiece? Thanks dude!

You did do the cannon wrong, it covers past the joint a millimeter or two when they're not extended. Pretty solid when applied properly.

hi.this is his correct colours.the "blue" bluestreak was never meant to be released as a transformer,thats the earlier diaclone version of the toy.i know it was shown in early tf brochures with autobot decals on it but its a mistake in the same way the yellow cliffjumper and red bummblebee were never meant to be released as transformers.the reason he is called bluestreak is because he never shuts up in the tv show [and his character bio says the same thing].someone who talks like that is said to talk a bluestreak,hence his name

monkeybubbles Okay, well, even the box art for Bluestreak was in the original Diaclone colors but the toy was all silver. I think that was done because Hasbro didn't want to make the extra effort to paint the second color, a cost cutting measure. And true, the not-often seen character on the show was black and silver, it is what it is now.

Max Brandt true,i agree with you,as an aside there is another autobot mini car nicknamed "bumblejumper" by fans/ collectors [similar shape to cliffjumper nd yellow like bee] and that was also never meant to be a transformer either,just more left over diaclone stock placed into tf packaging

monkeybubbles Yeah, "Bumblejumper" is a rare TF toy and not to be confused with Hubcap, it's more rare then the light blue Cliffjumper toy which was a South American only release.

I am wondering of which figure to get, prowl or bluestreak? Prowl looks more of cartoon accurate plus the head is nicer while bluestreak looks nicer with those colours but not tt accurate and i dun like the face.

Anyone who wants to know why he's called Bluestreak, I'll tell you: A euphemism for talking a lot in a short period of time is called "talking a blue streak", derived from turning blue in the face. His bio in G1 said he talks a lot. Bluestreak. The Diaclone toy was blue, but that's it.

the story is not that long before the Transformers there was a series of transforming robots called Diaclone and bluestreak was blue , then all the figures got repainted in better colors And i only have 16 and i allready know all the story behind transformers(didn't took to long to remember :D )

I fully concur MP18 is better than MP17. Besides the better look overall, my MP18 just had far better QC. The joints are tight (in some parts too tight even) but he holds together better in car mode and he is very posable, including holding the running pose with no problem at all. on the other hand, MP17 is a floppy mess. If not standing straight up his knees will collapse like a 120 year old grandpa.
