A DeSoto County inmate charged with attempted murder in Mississippi and murder in Texas walked out of a courthouse, caught a ride and vanished. The sheriff was adamant that the inmate did not have help escaping. But the district attorney claims that video showing the escape was deleted from his server and is now launching an investigation. either someone with direct access to the database removed his information, or there's a SQL-injection vulnerability in the portal page ( a login page, so admins can access the database outside of the work place ), and someone used the vulnerability. Database's would of logged the command that deleted that mans information, it would be smart to inject a command to delete the last command from the log as well if that's the case. SQL vulnerabilities are common, some are easy some require advance techniques, like blind SQL injection. Even code injection is possible depending on the programming language the server is based on.

For one, they cant delete it from the server since even when deleted, the information is still stored and have to be wiped with a special software which would require having the physical server in that person presence so I c all BS but they are not tech people but even then they could easily get that information from any IT department who knows anything about hardware technology
