That is the worst reporting of a story I have ever heard. A man killed outside the home, a woman killed inside the home and a shooter who ambushed the police, then fled out the back and committed suicide.. Did he live there? The neighbors being interviewed would have known if he did. Did the man who was shot live there? Again, the neighbors would have know, same as the woman who was shot. The footage was great, the reporting of the information is awful.

On the official form 4473 from the ATF, in box 24, there is category to be checked and the 3 choices are Handgun, Long gun ( rifle or shotgun), Other Firearm ( frame, receiver, etc.). There is no mention of "assault" rifle. So if you buy a shotgun or an AR, they would check box 2. Would you consider a shotgun as an "assault" rifle?

@@leom5671 You don't need to be from Chicago to know to stay in your house after you hear gunshots and see someone laying on the ground. That lady walked immediately outside yelling and waving her arms for others to come join her. Lucky for her the neighbor had common sense told her to get down.
