Years ago when they had that mass shooting they covered how much the gunman had paid for some of their weapons. They got full auto AKs cheaper than we get semi-auto AKs. They are illegal - smuggled in from the You can still own guns in France. Many of the English gun owners moved their weapons down to France and established gun clubs there after their draconian gun bans (that lowered the murder rate by....uh..nothing) I think semi-autos are harder to get (legally) but I think you can even own them. Of course these guys would have illegal guns.

@@theduke9292I'm against both Ukraine and Russia, and all forms of government, but Russia did just open up a whole new front with fresh troops in Ukraine, while Ukraine is already struggling - despite having numerous Nato (+ American) weapon suppliers and, in some cases, operators. Even American and NATO military experts are predicting that Ukraine will ultimately lose the war. Ukraine is desperately trying to get NATO fully involved because they lack manpower. It's one thing to want the underdog to win despite the low odds, but to claim that the underdog is vastly superior to the clearly dominant dog is delusional.

@@GospelOfThomasMcSwain never said Ukraine was vastly superior I just said Russia can’t defeat Ukraine yet claims to be able to fight NATO Russia intended to end the war in under a week. Yet here we are two years later. Without any major territory shifts in almost a year. The last major territory shift was a Ukrainian counteroffensive in Kherson which reclaimed the entire oblast. This most recent offensive having yet to result in any shifts in the balance of power and has reportedly cost the Russians thousands of troops and already having begun bogging down. Also there have been no NATO operators in Ukraine, according to intelligence the RUSSIAN FSB THEMSELVES posted there are a total of 357 nato personnel in Ukraine currently. Though they tried to claim they were combat troops NATO was quick to reveal the identity of these soldiers revealing half of them to be trainers. The remaining half are Embassy guards.

Kind of reminds of a scene in the movie The Italian Job when Ed Norris’s character has 2 other vehicles block the one they’re all in on a bridge, and he shoots Donald Sutherland and gets away with all the gold bars they had just stolen. That’s the only film that popped up in my mind.

If such a high profile convict, why no additional escort? I think authorities are taking it so seriously cause it could have been prevented if they had proper amount of backup following them.
