A bird strike is never the cause of a crash. These planes are built to withstand that. Something else went wrong. This was their second attempt and on the first attempt the landing gears were down. But the had to make a second attempt in the reverse direction and apparently pulled the landing gears back in. That's when things went wrong. Maybe they thought that the gear was down or the lights in the cabin indicated wrongly.
@twistymcslide23 күн бұрын
the end result may not have been a bird strike, but the reaction to the cause and panic in a pilot sure could be. the engines in the 737 power the hydraulic systems. so had the pilot not responded correctly , by directing crew to redundant manual systems , could have been part of this also. he prob had the stroke, didnt gain altitude , was over speeding for a landing without his systems working , and instead of gaining altitude , getting stuff in order an in a realistic timeline , and then giving the landing a go , could have surely been part of this. this is why you wait for investigations, and not reply on people's word of mouth who have limited facts , and allow time and investigators to figure it out . .If i were to guess as of now with the info and video available, it seems the pilot panicked and the crew either didnt have time to , or weren't instructed to do what they could have . were not the authority , or there , or educated as well as the investigative bodies. playing into conspiracy though is pretty derpy .

I’m a student pilot being trained at Muan International Airport. The wall-like structure you see is an ILS antenna. The antenna is mounted 4 to 5 meters high and secured with reinforced concrete. The CVR and FDR were both recovered from the crash site. The ARAIB (Aviation and Railway Accident Investigation Board) reported that the CVR was retrieved intact, but the FDR was severely damaged. They stated that the FDR will be analyzed with assistance from Honeywell and the NTSB.

The fact that the captain, while in a communicable state, only declared "Mayday" without providing even a brief account of the aircraft's current condition likely stems from an unspoken manual within Jeju Air aimed at avoiding responsibility for accidents. From the perspective of countries that prioritize individual accountability and records, such a communication appears highly unreasonable. As I always say, it is the backward mindset of many Koreans, questioning why they should share their income through taxes for the benefit of society, that leads to support for Yoon and his faction, ultimately confronting us with such grim realities. Look at all the disasters-such as Itaewon, the Sewol Ferry tragedy, and others. These are the tragic outcomes of a society where overarching systems and basic human rights have collapsed, where parachuted officials and survival-of-the-fittest logic dictate operations. Even though Korea's tax rates are low compared to advanced countries, half of the population remains selfishly backward in their mindset. As a result, when a parasitic conservative party takes power, the country is inevitably faced with appalling realities. And yet, some Koreans forget these lessons so quickly. This is why, no matter how much a democratic government elevates Korea's status, the country falls back into the mire every four years. The eight years of Kim Dae-jung and Roh Moo-hyun, though hard-won, at least brought some progress to Korea. During Moon Jae-in's administration, Korea performed an economic miracle even as the entire world suffered deficits. That was perhaps the time when I saw hope for Korea. It is imperative to impeach that lunatic Yoon as soon as possible, uproot the remnants of those opposing the course of history, and ensure the Democratic Party takes power. Only then can Korea hope to survive amidst these challenging global circumstances.
