Fun fact: how Irvine’s basketball throw lands during the scene at Trabia Garden is based on how many battles you’ve won up to that point in the game; if it’s less than 200 he misses, if it’s between 200 and 250 he lands it straight in the hoop, and if it’s over 250 it bounces around the hoop a couple of times before going in. I have no idea why this detail is even in the game but it’s pretty interesting

I guess that means in this particular playthrough, the player won less than 200 battles 😂

Tell Meの動画にもコメントさせていただきましたが、トラビアガーデンのこのイベントは地味ながらFF屈指の名シーンだと思います。Amiが流れる中なぜ戦うのか、過去に何があったのか明かされたのち、Tell Meからの「いつだって選べる道は少なかった・・・」から始まるアーヴァインの名言、そしてリノアと共に歩むことを望む仲間たちと、降り始めた雪を見上げる面々・・・本当に美しく感動的な名シーンです。

I went on a VGM soundtrack purchasing binge a few weeks ago and got an excellent condition copy of the FFVIII Limited Edition Soundtrack in the tall book case, as well as a bunch of other classics. Also, thanks to SEM for re-releasing classic Squaresoft and Square-Enix soundtracks!
