I live in NY and the Carter has a reputation for being derelict/dangerous. I've seen photos of the rooms from travelers and the condition of some of them is horrifying. It's a shame because the building has great Art Deco architecture and is in the most bustling tourist area in all of Manhattan. I've read about all the numerous crimes and deaths that have occurred there over the years, including the multiple murders. Aside from being a rundown relic of the city's seedier history, it just seems like a somber, eerie place. I'm sure it's haunted.
@heha97526 жыл бұрын
I know. I’m a New Yorker as well, and it’s so sad. However, it’s interesting to still have at least one relic of when Times Square was sleazy. I mean, it wasn’t necessarily better then, but it was a part of history. However, I still wouldn’t ever stay at the Carter. It’s way too dirty, and honestly way too creepy. They should at least clean it, and fix the room key issue.

If you want a hotel head to the swan in Newark where the maids steal your drugs and go through your stuff daily. The bar is fun and nice tho people set around out side the door and smoke weed like its nothing. Oh and I forgot to mention they rent rooms by the hour and they have a well known gangbang every other weekend which they will inform you of nonchalantly. I accidentally stayed there while working in Jersey for a couple months it was a wild experience. I've traveled everywhere for my job and have never seen anything quite like what goes on in that place. The day I went to check out the parking lot was full of cops. I asked the maid what was going on and evidently a guy hired what he thought was 2 ladies of the evening and they promptly tied him to the bed and robbed him leaving him tied to the bed. So if you happen to be in Newark and need a place to stay stop on by for a gangbang.
