I had to be about 9yrs old and i would sit for hours and watch Video Fashion and Fashion trance and this song was the most stand out song that makes me think RUNWAY! Love it

Now, this is a blast from the past. I remember this program and getting a glimpse of all the top models at the time, Naomi, Cindy, Linda, Kate, Helena, Christy, Claudia and numerous others as they walked the runway. It sure was the best part of the program. They showcased clothes, designers, photographers, and models. Definitely a blast from the past. I do remember this song being played at the end and the models always seemed to be in step to this song. It fit perfectly.

I remember seeing this as a kid, perhaps 4 years old?, early 90s, in Sweden. The song stood out to me so much, and I could still hum the melody years later. I remember being, quite literally, obsessed with the song and finding out what it was. Easier said than done, especially when I didn’t remember the name of the TV show and they only play the instrumental parts. Managed to somehow find out in my 20s, two decades later... talk about a lifelong search of a song. It’s an amazing track.

as thin as they were. They are so healthy looking compared to todays models. There's no excuse for these designers to want such superskinny models nowadays. The fashion world was ok in the 70's 80's and even the 90's withouth walking clothes hangers. Oh but now it seems to be neccessary.

Since this comment is 16+ years old, I hate to say that several anorexia and other eating disorder-related deaths of models have caused numerous designers to ban size zeroes from their shows. Granted, you still had *some* designers that continued to buy into that nonsense of "heroin chic/stick thin" (Lagerfeld, unsurprisingly), but it did change eventually, albeit for tragic reasons. :(
