A SpaceX Falcon Heavy rocket launched the USSF-67 mission for the US Space Force on Jan. 15, 2023. The rocket lifted off from Launch Complex 39A at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. Full Story: www.space.com/spacex-falcon-h...
Several minutes after launch the side boosters touched down safely back at SpaceX's landing zones at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. The core booster was not recovered to maximize fuel availability.

It was a beautiful launch. I was near downtown Melbourne Florida when I saw the initial plume. The sky seemed totally cloudless. Was able to continue to watch with my naked eyes for many minutes as the rocket went through its stages. I have never been able to see the stage release nor boosters released through my naked eyes. Just an incredible experience for me today.
