One of these days SpaceX will launch two rockets from the same platform. That will be worth seeing. 😮

What really happens to the engine that carries the payload after the separation and ejecting of the payload ?

It is redirected back towards Earth at the correct angle to ensure it burns up in the upper atmosphere.

Is there any more room for starlink up there?there seems like over the years there are thousands of satellites. Is there a way to get rid of the junk?

Satélites all smaller than a car do you really think they use much space ? There’s millions and millions of cars on earth and still lots of space. Imagine out there in space

@bullseyeH 25000 objects the size of a soccer ball, and 100 million objects of 1mm or more. According to nasa any one of those could cause a major problem. I'm not against space flight,I'm against all the crap they leave up there.

Yes, the surface above the earth is very large. these satellites are not sent up there and just floating about. Their positions are actively monitored and they can adjust their position or steer to avoid collisions with, for example, other satellites. This is not theoretical. spaceX does this weekly/monthly, and there are even a couple of news articles about this.

@@cosmickidd205 The orbits that SpaceX uses (quite low) still have a bit of drag and anything there will fall back to the atmosphere within ~5-10 years. so these are 'self-cleaning' orbits. This is by design. So, to your question, they don't leave any crap up there. At higher altitude, yes, it could be a problem but so far this issue has never occurred (for any spacecraft / satellite)

How high went that joy riding rocket of Blue Origin the other day? Carrying about eight "astronauts"? This rocket went up 151 km.
