Looking at just how cooked that capsule is gives an idea of what that thing goes through on re-entry; the structural stress, the atmospheric pressure, the scorching heat, how close to death the astronautics get... amazing engineering really.

@@zigzagkillah7666 I’m sure Russians are grateful to SpaceX, just as I’m sure Americans are grateful to SpaceX. None of us wanted our countrymen stranded in space. I fully expect and believe that if Elon had immigrated to Russia instead of the U.S. and started SpaceX there, in that alternate reality, this rescue flight still would have brought ALL the stranded people home to Earth safely. How on earth could any civilized rescue mission leave any scientists stranded due to their nationality? That isn’t even a consideration when talking about bringing these people home. Americans and Russians have a ton in common culturally and have historically been allies just as often as enemies.

It seems like some people don’t read or listen anymore, yet they’re quick to comment and object to facts. This wasn’t a rescue mission; they just brought back crew members who had been in space for over 200 days. The two astronauts left behind by the Boeing Starliner are still on the ISS. Speaking of Boeing, I hope its critics aren’t flying anymore, considering Boeing holds about 40% of the market. So, when booking flights, make sure to ask for an Airbus!

What’s that supposed to mean? So you recon people should just suck it up and passively accept Boeing endangering their lives and killing whistleblowers like little dumb and obedient sheep like yourself? That’s the dumbest and most defeatist thing I’ve heard, immoral too considering two people who voluntarily put their lives on the line to fight for your safety have literally being assassinated. The funniest thing is that if your spirit is beaten by a mere minority market share then you should at most be in despair. Yet I sense a stark sneer in your words almost as if you’re proud. But of what? Proud of being a powerless wage slave who knows their place and can keep their head buried in the sand while your corporate masters bully and manslaughter people for profit? If day that’s truely the most cock sucking attitude I’ve seen so far. Correct me if i’m wrong.
