Rival Schools is awesome, I hope Capcom brings it back one day. I gotta search for that magazine. Thanks for the pickups once again.

I would’ve loved digging through that old E3 stuff. I have a few items that came from the year it was in Georgia.

that's cool! I never got to go to an E3 but some of my old FuncoLand workers did and brought me some goodies back in the day.

MCI, that's a throwback. I didn't bother to film at the store since he posts a lot from there and he wasn't around anyway.

I'm interested in trying that GBA Ironman one day. I've never played any of the Buster Bros games, how much does a cart copy go for? I might be interested. Do you have the Rival Schools arcade?

Unfortunately the Buster Bros cart sold fast. I recommend getting the Buster Bros Collection for PS1 as it has 3 arcade games. I never got a Rival Schools board as it's based on PS1 hardware so looks pretty close to the same as the home version.

I used to be big into importing phone cards for a while, since it seemed as if every Japanese game had one or more released around the time they hit the market. Mostly Sega, but then shipping prices got wonky and I stopped. Rival Schools art is up there with Super Street Fighter 2 (Turbo) and Alpha 2. I really dislike the art style from SF3 on, which is a shame, since they really hit a stride there that was/is unmatched.

I'd say that also coincides with the artwork for Project Justice on Dreamcast taking a huge drop-off. Must have lost some key talent. It'd be interesting to see how many of the art phone cards from the era actually got used.
