For those who can't make the jump, use the bridge to the right. Go past the finger reader and to the end of the bridge. Then head down to the left. It brings you out at the same place. Good luck with the bosses!

Since I’m new to the game I’d like to actually enjoy the game by leveling up equally with the story progression. Makes the game more fun, and worth it when you get stronger! Interesting variations: Because you could lose your run at Anticipation, go there as soon as you are prepared to re-fight the boss. The time you lose later is negligible and you aren't resetting after invading thrice which could be variable in future. I also found putting a few levels into Mind to be useful. The Ash of War for the Hatchet eats the Anticipation boss for breakfast and if you are quick about it, then it's just as safe as climbing the tree but takes significantly less time (Time save baby). It's also just as viable to drop down to the Somber Smithing stone from the belfry "on foot". You can go just as fast and that last "jump back" isn't necessary since the player model is much easier to control on the descent. It's safer without losing any time. My first attempt rolled in at about 75 minutes just to get the Mogh summons, because I faffed about exploring some of the tactics and trying different things. To level one hundred, naturally the half hour or so grind is just unavoidable. It might be interesting to time this as a speedrun category with level 100 implied since the grind is pretty consistent time-wise.

You may not use it, while others tend to stare at it quite frequently, and both are valid ways to play the game. It's also a basic UI element, and just silly to be covered. Especially when majority of speed runs put the timer in a corner.

You can still cheese Mohg. Start the fight, die/exit it. After that you can stand on the same gravestones to pelt him with arrows with a longbow. You can either rot him or poison him to death, but if you hit enough with any arrow so he staggers, once he stands up you can just enter his room and kill him since it disables his AI until you stagger him again.

31:35 you do not need to beat him, there is a glitch that spawns you at the default position of an area, in this case, the place where you can wet the paper with blood. You should look up how to do it, but this will save you MINUTES! (like this so he sees!)

Took me about 30+ tries on godrick before I thought to myself "hmm, maybe I should get ashes and level up a little bit" 😂 but eventually beat him. Today I faced the lizard thing in the cave that breathes fire, and after about 15ish tries I finally managed to solo him without a summon or the cooperator! This run works in the time shown if you have the player skill to drop the two bosses in the castle first try. This guy has probably completed the game several times so he makes it look easy! I’m level 204 now and have progressed quite a bit through the game in the last couple weeks thanks to this rune farm. I play offline so the three finger thing I didn’t do and had to do a single challenge in the Altus plateau off a red summon bar. Took me longer than the time shown here because of that. I had the two halves of the medallion to operate the lift so didn’t do the underground path

There is a spot on the cliffside site of grace where you climb up the rock wall and you double jump off at a certain spot and start winging your weapon and (i recommend having a colossal weapon) and swing with it 25 times and it should start giving you runes from the area it will auto kill everything except for luminary mohg giving u bout 70-80k runes per tick (there are 3 ticks) on your first run but on ng+ it give about 110-130k runes per tick

FYI.... it is extremely difficult to make the jump prior to Liurnia of the Lakes, but I noticed there is a Bridge to the right, if you take it and jump down and then take it to the left, safer and easy. After 15 deaths.

Nice! Thanks for this guide. I got to Moghwyn and just used Loretta’s Greatbow and didn’t have to worry about range, arrows, or aiming. The first shot would Aggro the Bird to walk over then the next shot would hit the bird for the mechanic that makes him jump off.

You can just use the finger severer instead of running all the way to the cliffs for the invasions. Neither you or the host us to die, it only checks of you have invaded 3 times for quest progress so might be faster just to sever.

Took me about 4 hours total to do it. I took my time fighting godrick. His patterns are just so erratic man. The tree glitch for the last boss worked fine. It took me about 7 tries.

You really don't need to be farming on your main playthrough, just playing the game and doing all the side-bosses and etc gives you more than enough Runes/levels lol...

I'm 180 hours in, not sure what level, but I'm at the Ashen Capital (Dex-Int). I just started a new character (Fth-Str?) because I play on the Playstaion, and halfway through my run, I switched from PS4 version to PS5 and the trophies don't carry over. I have to redo the first half of the game in order to get a platinum trophy on the PS5. This speed run to spank bosses, is exactly what I needed. I'm looking forward to wrapping things up because I want to start Baldur's Gate 3. But I thoroughly loved Elden Ring.

If you’re not confident in fighting the scion there’s another’s maiden blood at a church u gotta pick up key next to the dragon go through the seal and then make the trip. U do get invaded but u could just run past him and get the grace then get the maidens blood

This was very helpful and I didnt even know about those graveyards when I was traveling the maps in the crysyal lake area. I play as an astrologer and I really dig the bow, spells and my crystal sword. I havent fought any of the big story bosses yet...I kinda get lost with unlocking maps and sidequests. Only lv 38 so far xD and this is my first Souls game and it's fun. Scary sometimes but fun :3

Level 38 is more than enough! Atleast for Margit. If you need help on him, go through the dragon ruin's, and after you teleport leave the caves and find the dog summon. It poisons

If you pass time till night you also have a 40% higher chance to get one of the super birds that drop 55k runes 66k with the scarab and almost 80k if you have the golden foot as well.

At the beast, started as hero played strength build with golden halbardo until radahan then switched to katanas with frost stomp. Switched back to strength build using crusher +25 to beat clergyman, first lord and final boss. Rip frost stomp. looking forward to going back and getting everything.

You could improve your grind technique by aiming through the center of the tree. It's possible to hit the bird a second or two earlier that way.

to answer your questions, i'm on ng +1, completed the game with dual wield katana's and lionell's armor so have a bunch of points in endurance, i put enough in so even with goblin greatbow equipped i am medium load (last i checked i think it is 50 points i have in it), current level is 201 but i haven't actually played in about 5 days, with ng 1+ i wanted it to be closer to a new character so started the run naked and banked all items so was only using items found in current run and chose a shield/mace, but will probably switch to shield/trident so can have shield up while attacking rather than dropping shield to attack, might switch to shield/sword if find a good one before then, using mace mainly for those mobs in the mines that are better with blunt weapons (if i had found the erdtree's favor +2 a lot sooner i would had saved points going into endurance but i found it not long before completing the game when had already put the points in)
