What I'd like to see more than anything is the same thing I've always wanted: more collaboration between developers, less infighting, and less toxicity among users. Maybe that means regular users financially supporting more projects (buy a coffee, etc.) to relieve the pressure these guys are under. Maybe there needs to be more people that volunteer to do marketing, polling, etc. to users to improve overall communication. All that said, I'll throw my vote behind a 3DO core. ;)

Great choices. Rolling Thunder, Dungeon Magic + Darius Gaiden, CPS3 (of course), TMNT, Gradius II and III, The Simpsons. A cheat option for arcade cores would be nice.

3DO has been my most-desired core since the very start of my FPGA obsession. It's also one of my favorite consoles of all time. I know it'll happen eventually... but I just have to be patient! It bothers me that many people think of the 3DO in the same way as the CD-I or Jaguar (a failed system with few good games). I HONESTLY believe the 3DO has a better library of fun & replayable games than the N64! When you remove the garbage, you are left with some true gems, exclusives, & the best quality versions of many FMV games like Sewer Shark. Throw in some classics like Wing Commander/Street Fighter II & weird games like Twisted & Gridders & Virtual House.. plus Fifa/Road Rash.. I can go on for days! :)

Revenge of Death Adder and King of the Dragons are my two favourite arcade beat-em-ups, Followed closely by D&D Tower of Doom/Shadow over Mystara. Also as a side note it could be possible to use the mister fpga for the primary components of let's say an N64 or a Dreamcast and then have a sister board like a Raspberry Pi of some kind to handle the graphics/audio components.

PGM would be pretty nice. I'm happy with anything else we could possibly get. I initially bought my MiSTer for C64 and other retro 8-bit computer emulation. All the arcade and game console cores are icing on top! I love that I made a one time investment and that investment keeps getting better and better. All those people asking if buying a MiSTer is really worth it... uh, yeah, it is.

I feel like Konami, Capcom and Sega arcade hardware are relatively well represented now (at least for circa 1990 stuff) so I want the missing piece of the puzzle: Data East Caveman Ninja Hardware which has Dark Seal, Edward Randy and Robocop 2 on it as well. It'd be cool get Sega System 24 maybe. I likes me some Gain Ground and Hot Rod.

I really wish Jotego had considered the IGS PGM before the CPS3. I'm a huge CPS3 fan, but outside of tourneys this core will serve little purpose without an online service like fightcade, while the polygame master system has a huge library and desperately needs to be preserved on the mister.

Namco boards that run Splatterhouse, Phelios, Dragon Spirit, Dragon Saber, Ordyne! I would also like to see System 32 but not without System 18 and System 24 alongside it. I would also like to see the Sharp X68000 core get improved, Cy-Lips, Salamander and Rygar do not work as well as many other x68000 games when I tested it last year. Hopefully in time it will get improved to a fully working status and it would be nice to have fully working FM-Towns and PC-9801 cores as well.

I'd love to see some 90's Atari arcade titles hit the MiSTer. There was this one game called Road Riot 4WD that I only ever played once at a birthday party at an arcade in the early 90's. I have no idea if it would still hold up but I recall having a blast playing it with my friends back then and I'd love to play it again. I'd also love to see Sega System 32. I honestly kinda hoped that the "secret core" being worked on by Robert Peip was going to be Sega System 32. I didn't really think that it was going to be, as he seems to be much more console focussed rather than arcade focussed. Still, I had had my fingers crossed.

I think a 3do is in my future I most of the library in redump form. The spot where my one X is is perfect for one when I upgrade. Irem released a lot of boards too and would reissue games on different boards kind of the Anti Konami. Warrior blade is a testament to Taito sprite work.

Yes but no. The dev clearly said he’s building it as a framework for the next mister with a larger FPGA, whenever that day comes. For now he’ll try and release a neutered version which will fit on the current MiSTer, but it will probably only run a few of the simplest games, and probably not accurately. I’m afraid the announcement has been taken too literally and now everyone expects a full n64 on the current mister, which just isn’t possible.

N64 :D Okay that one is cheating a bit as it was only just announced. I'd like a CDI core as that system is barely supported in emulation, though unlikely to happen. I mean let's be honest some might say the 3DO sucks but the CDI ACTUALLY sucked. I definately would like to see Outfoxies but with better scaling for higher resolution screens.

Hello, I formatted my WD My Passport 1TB in the exFAT file system, for Psx and GameBoy on Mister, I don’t have a computer, I transfer games to my external hard drive from my Poco F3 smartphone via otg. after when I throw some games on it, it stops being detected on the smartphone .. but on the PC, mister, the hard drive works fine .. what could be the reason for this? my smartphone does not cope well with exFAT? there is no such problem with NTSC

The problem seems to be with your phone but I’ve never heard of that model so I’d say google it as I really don’t know what it’s capable of

Hello, please tell me, does Mister FPGA download these games when I update using the Update_all script?, Or do you download basic arcade games .. the rest need to be downloaded

You need to go into the update all settings and turn the MAME rom getter to on

You can use an external hard drive if you want yes. You’d just want to make sure it’s solid state for xfer speeds
