I played this game a lot at Galaxy Arcade when I was a kid. I am much more familiar with the NES version. That was the one that I played growing up because I only knew 1 person who had parents that had the means to be able to spend $700 for a Neo Geo and another $200 for the baseball stars cartridge. Us common folk just played the NES version. When isnt it? and when it is. were typed into just about every NES that was lucky enough to have this game in its rotation

I have the nes version, but definitely never had hundreds of dollars to spend on the neo geo and its games, both of which were and still are absurdly overpriced. Luckily, I discovered emulators and roms in the late 1990's to make them far more affordable until I got an SNK Greatest Hits game for my xbox 360 about 10-15 years later.
