You're consistently making top 8, even at Final Kombat AND COOKING WITH SHANG TOO I was looking for that guide, I stick to this team since the kameo came out. I know it isn't that useful but the one time you hit db4, you can combo into fkameo dash b2. I'm preparing for my local finals in a month as a loyal Shao main, but I need to work on my Raiden and Ashrah matchups And yeah, Mavado is a freak.

Great guide as always. Just wanted to mention that mavado's slide can actually combo during shao's command grab. Its very niche, but if you're doing the command grab and its just not quite enough to kill, if you have mavado slide right before shao pulls out the axe it does just a tad more damage. Its not much, but if the difference is leaving your opponent with a magic pixel or just straight up deleting their hp bar, the choice is obvious

Mavado is Shaos best kameo, currently top 40 in Demi god using this setup, delayed wake up is what kills shao, having a means to punish it, re-stand the neutral full screen with plus frames, and easily pull 40%+ combos off with a jump in, make moves safe with the mine and extend combos.

F4 combos meterless with mavado. Also you can get more damage to finish a round if you do mine on the command throw ender. You can combo off projectile, too! It also gives you a combo brutality ender for F2 with the mine 😁

Not sure if I missed it, but, forward 4 is a safe launcher with Mavado, no longer have to spend a bar of meter with General shaos “projectile” to launch either.
