Yes this is Season 3. If you're from the UK like I am, then Season 2 is almost finished and Season 3 will start September/October 2016. Also to answer your question, Violetta is the girl in the red hair. Violetta has problems with her relationship with Leon but wanted to get closer to Leon so created this fake character named Roxy. The girl who is friends with Roxy (Violetta) is Francesca. She is helping out Violetta however doesn't want to anymore as she doesn't like lying. The other girl with Leon is a new character. I don't know anything about her, but I assume she likes Leon and gets in the middle of Violetta and Leon's relationship. I think her name begins with a G. I'm not 100% sure on this, I just assume from the videos I watched.

Thanks. Im from the US it'sjust thay im watching it on netflix because i dont have that channel and only season 1 and 2 are there not 3 so i was lost and honestly. And am I the only one thats tired of everyone getting in the way of violetta and Leon it makes me so angry they're so cute together.
