Sylvester died of complications from AIDS in San Francisco on December 16, 1988. He was 41 years old. His good friend Jeanie Tracy took care of Sylvester during his last days.

60,000 views for the awsome Sylvester live video. A little note. He was not well but performed anyway. This, his new release was the last song of the night and this is when we finally get the Sylvester we remember and will always love, be you straight or gay, black, white yellow or any other color, his music was the very best

I remember her, a true pioneer for us gurls, when she was in the Castro district. God wanted her to sing just for him in heaven with her beautiful voice. I remember and love you Gurl! You brought us the Weather Girls. Was there in West Hollywood at the Cabaret as they performed live. Damn! I'm an old young bitch. Love you Sylvester --- listening to you and your music raising my heart up to heaven.

I saw his documentary on Unsung his voice is like a mixture of Patti Labelle and Aretha Franklin.
@kensuazo19573 жыл бұрын
No way. His tone was distinct. Unique. Soars and circles the earth always. Every time I hear Patti I want to step on her neck. Aretha gets old after a while. I never get tired of the Sylvester’s voice , especially the remixes.

That's not what I was referring to concerning December 16, 1988. That was the day Sylvester died. Please do research before you attack. By the way, I love Syvester's version. It was fabulous and channeled Aretha Franklin more than anyone I have ever heard.
