I've lived in a couple of apartments that had a ghost. Pretty unsettling. Had some previous experience with paranormal things before that, so maybe I wasn't as freaked out as most would be. Kind of got used to it at a certain point. Sometimes, if you stop reacting to it, the ghost gives up and stops doing things. The old man in the corner of the mirror just staring at me in the bathroom freaked me out pretty badly, though. The other one, my cat was chasing around something that wasn't there, until it stopped and my cat was just staring at one spot, so I looked at where may cat was staring, waved and said hi. Suddenly I could see a grey semi-transparent mist orb floating in the air and I jumped back in surprise. As if in reaction to being seen by a human, it freaked out and started frantically zipping around the room randomly. It then flew through the closet, through the wall, and into the living room. Suddenly, I hear my roommate yelling "what's wrong with my cat" as her catt was chasing it around. We talk back and forth telling each other what's happening, then she sees the floating orb and freaks out. It panics again, then bolts out the front door. She didn't believe in ghosts.

@@aster2790 There might be a scientific explanation for the phenomenon, maybe it isn't ghosts as we think of them now. It may be that we just don't have the knowledge or understanding of what's really happening. But just because you don't believe it is caused by ghosts as we currently define them, doesn't mean it isn't real. It just means it might not be caused by what we think it is. Many people have experienced something happening that we don't understand, we as a society have agreed to call them ghosts. That doesn't mean we necessarily understand what ghosts are. For example, we used to think Absinthe 'caused hallucinations, now we know it was caused by lead poisoning due to impurities in the brewing process. No, Absinthe doesn't cause hallucinations. But the hallucinations did happen, we just didn't understand what caused them at the time. But they weren't just high. Take UFOs, at least some real UFO sightings aren't aliens, but UFO just stands for Unidentified Flying Object. They really saw saw an Unidentified Object, it just might not be aliens. It was still a real sighting of something, just because you don't believe in aliens doesn't mean the sighting wasn't real.

In the late 80's my dad was living with my grandma and had a few friends over for a sleepover, they were in the living room and there was a door directly beside the couch that went out to the backyard which was gigantic cause it connected to a huge forest in the area, (its a pretty rural area and was about a mile from any roads) that door started rattling and my dad thought it was a burglar or something so he opened the door to scare him, and when he opened the door nobody was there, so him and his friends were pretty freaked out. When I was born my family was living in that house to take care of my grandma and she was allowing us to live there cause we were short on money. The main 3 things I remember from my childhood at that house was people in the 2nd story windows, a gray man at the bottom of the stairs, and doors slamming randomly in the night. Everyone in my family who has been to that house says theyve seen similar things, even family friends. My grandma died in 2019 and her house was sold, my mom was sent a post on facebook by her friend from work who was friends with the family who bought the house (small town etc etc) and the post was describing that family's experience with the house, their young daughter had been woken up multiple times in the night with deep scratches on her back. On top of that they had also heard people screaming in the woods and saw faces in the windows, so they ended up selling the house and now live closer to the main part of town. not sure why this video made me wanna share that tho lol

That's horrifying! Reminds me a bit of my childhood farm home in rural MI. A very dense forest also edged the back of our yard and it was freaky AF at night lemme tell ya'! Very old home with lots of residual spirits. Never anything demonic like the new owners experienced at your old home but that stuff is scary nonetheless!!

The strangest thing I've ever seen was in a dream, where I just saw 3 photos appear and then fade away, the photos where in black and white but tinted with a brown look, it was a family of 3 they where dressed as though they where from the 1930's ot so, the first photo was a women with a hat with some flowers on it and a fancy looking dress, the 2nd was a man who seemed to be quite a bit older then her with a mustache and a nice suit or tuxedo, the last photo was a picture of a boy looked no older then 12 or so, he was wearing a buttoned up long sleeved white shirt or like some under shirt, btw I think those where the people whose to live in my house, my house was built in the 1900's a home which the rich would live in because it was also a nice big 2 story house meanwhile almost half the rest of the neighborhood is a 1 story home.

I live alone with my pets and my house is haunted to hell. Not long after my mum died the house phone would start dialing in the early hours of the morning. It was always random but the distinct sound of the buttons being pushed. I'd walk downstairs and it would stop and nothing would be on the dial screen. As soon as I would start to head up the stairs it would start again. I had zero explanation for it. But my pets would freak out. So I got rid of my landline.
