Riding INSANE Roller Coasters at Six Flags Over Texas!!

We spend the day riding insane roller coasters at Six Flags Over Texas! It's been about 5-6 years since I was last at Six Flags Over Texas so it was great to get back out there and re-ride most of the rides! I did get 2 new rides in during my visit being La Vibora and Harley Quinn's Spinsanity!!! Omg I loved Harley Quinn's Spinsanity so much lol... We even ran into a view and hung out with him and his dad for most of the day too!! Thanks for letting me hang with ya AJ and Joel!

Bro that log flume is more than just cute: it's the first log flume EVER BUILT. You're riding history, man. Also, man, I wish you could have caught the (non new) Texas Giant in the nineties, which consistently won Best Woody awards. Eventually, though, it just became PAINFUL, hence the conversion. But it was smooth, fast, and utterly incredible for a time.

Hey Alex! About your comment about the other El Asseradero, That other flume opened in 1962 as the world's first log flume. It was so popular they built another El Asseradero next to it, in 1968, which is the one you rode. That one hasn't operated normally since 2018. it came back briefly in 2021 for the anniversary of this park but it hasnt operated since then. Thanks for this awesome vid, Alex.

Oh wow. This is my home park. Edit: I moved to the area in 1987. That old section of the log ride was there and not being used. Since it’s still there, I doubt they’ll be removing it anytime soon. Lol. But if you want a better water ride (as far as getting you wet) ride the Roaring Rapids.

I moved from Amarillo to Dallas in 87, too! And we always had season passes. I DO recall both flumes running from time to time in the late 80s and early 90s, but it's been awhile. SUPPOSEDLY, tests have been run on the inactive flume, recently! BTW, as I'm sure you know, that was the FIRST log ride, ever.

Covid shut the 2nd log plume down. They used to both run, but since park attendance is down, they shut it down. Plus, the maintenance on 2 was probably not helping. They have been there since I was a kid, and that's been a while back. Love your content, too.

I find the ride lineup here to be underrated. New Texas Giant is fast and airtime-packed, Mr. Freeze is super fast and whippy, Titan is intense, Batman the Ride is a Batman the Ride clone so you know it’s good, and Runaway Mountain is better than it has any right to be.

I LOVE YOUR VIDEOSN! but You should definitely go to six flags this week or before the end of October for fright fest! Today (September 10th) is the opening night! It’s so good! It’s the best time to get scared! The mazes are so good THE FOOD IS AWESOME! The Mercedes is great it’s such a good time! And you get you’re pants scared off! The caters are so good! (Personality I think six flags magic mountain in la or in Texas) is the best! Or you should check out universal Studios or Knotsberry farm those are some good places to visit in Halloween! (I’m pretty sure you’ve heard of it but you should definitely check it out!)

I booked at laQuinta so I could walk in also! New Tx Giant was amazing and thr restraints much better than RMCs own lapbars. Titan and Mr freeze were closed, but I loved Shockwave, and chose judge Roy scream as my LRotNo because I couldn't run the whole way back to laVibora before they roped off the queue a few minutes early. And I finally rode cyborg cyberspin (harley quinn) at Gr8 adv on Saturday and didn't get sick either.

I’m a year late but I just went there for the first time and it was INSANE! It was my first time so I had to overcome my fear so we went on runaway mountain and jumped straight to mr freeze. I was so scared and started crying but I went on it and immediately wanted to ride everything!
